Novgorod. There was a fire, and it went from Borkova Street up to the [stream] Gzen, and on the other side of the river from Mikitin Street to Rodokovitsi street

The same autumn the men of Novgorod sent envoys to a conference with the Germans at Izborsk: and the envoys of the Germans came from over sea from the town of Lubek, from the Goth coast (Gotland), from Riga, Yurev (Tartu), Kolyvan (Tallinn), and from many other towns; then they took peace with the Germans.
The same winter the same envoys of the Germans came to Novgorod, and took their merchandise; and kissed the Cross, and began to build their court anew, because for seven years there had been no stable peace.
