Knyaz Dmitri began to make war on the men of Novgorod; and the men of Novgorod sent the Vladyka with entreaty; and he did not listen to him. In the winter of the same year Knyaz Dmitri came to Novgorod with an armed force and did much harm to the district of Novgorod and having halted on the Shelon he made peace and withdrew.
