The same autumn, Yaroslav marched with an army to the Chernigov district, with the men of Novgorod and with all his force against Mikhail, and burned Sherensk; and after camping near Mosalsk he turned back again, having destroyed many crops. And there, too, near the town they shot the commander [of the troops] Oldan, and they went away without peace.
