Battle against the Prince of Polotsk
The Svei (Swedes) approached Ladoga, and the people of Ladoga set fire to their dwellings, and shut themselves up in the town with Posadnik Nezhata, and sent for the Knyaz and for the men of Novgorod. They had come in 55 boats, 43 boats they took; only a few of them escaped, and those wounded.
